Richard "Dick" Woolard

Richard Gerald “Dick” Woolard, 71, of Eldorado, IL passed away at 11 AM at his residence on Saturday, May 23, 2026. Graveside services will begin at 11 AM on Friday, May 29, 2026 at Wolf Creek Cemetery in Eldorado, IL with Reverend Jeff Owens officiating. There will be no visitation all family and friends should go directly to the cemetery. Felty Funeral Home of Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family with arrangements.

Dick was born on June 24, 1954 in Joliet, IL to the late Guy Woolard and Lucille (Young) Woolard. He married Barbara Woolard on March 2, 1980.

Dick was a coal miner for many years.

He is survived by his 2 children: Lindsay (Lloyd) Neafus and Neal Woolard both of Eldorado, IL; 3 siblings: Rick Woolard and Sandra Schauer both of Eldorado, IL and Marla Morris of Elgin, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Guy and Lucille Woolard, and brother: Mark Morris.
