Obituary Reverend James E. Williams Jr., 82, of Harrisburg, IL died Saturday September 26, 2020 at 11:07 pm at his residence. Funeral services will be held Tuesday September 29, 2020 at 11 am at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held after 9 am until service time. Reverend Jack Hall and Reverend Roy Dale Orr will officiate. Burial will be in Blockhouse Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital or Shriners Childrens Hospital. He was born on June 8, 1938 in Omaha, Illinois to the late James and Virginia (Hancock) Williams Sr. He married the former Margaret Bethel on June 10, 1956 and she survives. He was a retired plumber and pipefitter. He also pastored many churches in the area including the Wasson Baptist Church, Walnut Grove Baptist Church near Harrisburg, IL and New Castle Baptist Church where he had been for the past 24 years. He is survived by his Wife: Margaret Williams of Harrisburg, IL; 3 Children: Jim (Sherry) Williams, Sharon Williams and Connie Williams all of Harrisburg, IL; 2 Sisters: Ramona Hilliard and Mary Patterson both of Harrisburg, IL; Brother Danny Williams of Lake of Egypt, IL; Grandchildren Tiffany & Phil Nyberg, Jeremy Williams, Kelsea & Nathaniel Harris, Great grandchildren: Rylan Nyberg, Brody Nyberg, Sebastian Williams, Max Engel, Zoey Williams, Ryder Harris and Alye Gibbons and Step Great Grandchildren: Skye Casey and Oakley Harris. He was preceded in death by his parents and Grandson: Brandon Gibbons.
