Reva L. Seets,78, of Carrier Mills, IL died Tuesday August 25, 2026 at 9:07 pm at Herrin Hospital. Her wishes were to be cremated. No services are scheduled at this time. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family. 

She was born on May 23, 1948 in Carrier Mills, IL to the late George and Mary (Wilkins) Fitzgerald.

She worked many years before her retirement from the Nationwide Glove Factory. In her spare time she loved to cook and wash dishes. She also was an animal lover and loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her partner: Nora Fitzgerald of Carrier Mills, IL; brother: Eddie (Pat) Fitzgerald of Carrier Mills, IL; children: Brian Seets of Belleville, IL; Patty Seets of Springfield, IL and Mary Seets of Mt. Vernon, IN; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; 4 nephews: Jerry Choat, Buddy Fitzgerald, Jason Fitzgerald and Brandon Fitzgerald, and her fur babies: Maddie and Patsy.

Reva was loved and respected by the entire McDermott family. 

She is preceded in death by a sister: Kathryn Choat and 2 brothers: William Fitzgerald and Carl Tolbert.
