Larry Carpenter

Larry Carpenter, 85, of Harrisburg, IL passed away at 3:39 pm on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at Axiom Healthcare in Harrisburg, IL. His wishes were to be cremated. Memorial service details will be added at a later time. Felty Funeral Home of Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family with arrangements.

Larry was born on June 25, 1940 in San Jose, IL to the late Earsel and Ruth (Diegal) Carpenter.

He was a veteran and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. After his time in the service, he began working for Caterpillar as an electrician. He went to college to further his career, and worked as an electrician for many years. Larry enjoyed traveling and playing the lottery during his retirement.

Larry is survived by his 4 Grandchildren: Heather Faulkner of Simpson, IL, Rachel Thompson of Birch Tree, MO, Vernon Davis of Phoenix, AZ and Johnathon Davis of McClure, IL; and Sister: Rosemary Frances.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Earsel and Ruth Carpenter; Brother: Bob Carpenter and Sisters: Joyce Camden and Margaret Crawford.
