Howard L. Brachear

Howard L. Brachear, 88, of Harrisburg, IL died Thursday April 15, 2021 at 8:07 am at Harrisburg Medical Center. His wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family. He was born on October 11, 1932 in Cornland, IL to the late Ronald and Irene (Bischoff) Brachear. He married the former Donna M. Balsley on February 11, 1951 and she survives. He was a retired truck driver and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his Wife: Donna Brachear of Harrisburg, IL; Son: Ron Brachear of Harrisburg, IL; Daughter: Becky (Monty) Clark of Mt. Vernon, IL; 9 Grandchildren: Ryan Mattingly, Renee (Craig) Beck, Risa (Trent) Legg, Katie Perry, Billie Jo Edwards, Cody (Kindra) Clark, Brad (Linza) Brachear, Blake (Jenny) Brachear and Brett (Brandi) Brachear and 18 Great Grandchildren.
