Charles Edward Ragon

Charles Edward Ragon, 77, of Harrisburg, IL died Sunday September 13, 2020 at his residence. Graveside services will be held Wednesday September 16, 2020 at 1:30 pm at Ragon Woodsedge Cemetery at 1680 Somerset Road, Harrisburg, IL. There will be no visitation, all friends should go directly to the cemetery. Reverend Ken Blumenstock will officiate. Military Rites will be performed by the Army National Guard. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family with details. He was born on March 26, 1943 in Harrisburg, IL to the late Billie Edward and Wanda Louise (Bryan) Ragon. He married the former Karen Basham on November 26, 1971 and she survives. He was a retired investigator for the Department of Child and Family Services where he worked for many years and he was also a driver for the Amish community. He was a Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and also a member of the Christian Life Fellowship in Harrisburg, IL. He is survived by his Wife: Karen Ragon of Harrisburg, IL; Daughter: L'Erin Ragon of Harrisburg, IL; Sister: Jolene Martin of Vienna, IL and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; Sister: Sue Ann Patton and Grandchild: Bentley Ragon.
