Obituary Lyle Lee, 91, of Harrisburg, IL died Thursday October 19, 2017 at Marion VA Medical Center. He has been cremated and will be interred at Brushy Cemetery near Harco, IL at a later date. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family with the details. He was born on September 7, 1926 in Harco, IL. He was a retired self employed water ski instructor from Ft. Lauderdale and Pompano Beach FL. At one time he held the world record for long distance skiing established on August 21, 1956 at Lake of the Ozarks, MO. The non-stop record took 24 hours, 46 minutes and encompassed 682 miles. He was a World War II Army veteran. He is survived by 3 Children: Terry (Terry) Elms of Ozark, IL; Valerie Lee of Richmond, TX and Lyle Patton (Lori) Lee of Pace, FL; 3 Grandchildren: Eliza (David) Hill of Vienna, IL; Robin Barry of Richmond, TX; and Casey Lee of Pace, FL 3Step-Grandchildren: Shane (Kara) Elms; Abby (Jeff) Henshaw and Justin (Kristi) Elms; 2 Great Grandchildren: Reagan and Dawson Hill, 8 Step-Great Grandchildren: Nathan (Lila) Elms; Kayla Elms; Shayna Elms; Ariana, Elms; Gavin Henshaw; Jenna Henshaw; Andrew Brown and Kason Elms and 3 Step-Great Great Grandchildren: Ellie Elms; Lana Ruiz and Maddox Hensley.
