Judith Ann “Judy” Parton, 75, of Carrier Mills, IL died Tuesday June 13, 2017 at 11:55 pm at Shawnee Rose Care Center in Harrisburg, IL. Funeral services will be held Friday June 16, 2017 at 11 am at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Friday from 9 am until service time. Reverend Ryan Beck will officiate and burial will be Salem Cemetery. She was born on January 16, 1942 in Harrisburg, IL to the late Bernard and Midge (Williams) Harris. She married Jerry Joe Parton on September 11, 1962 and he preceded in death on February 26, 2007. She was a postal worker for the Carrier Mills Post Office for 32 years before retiring in 1997. She is survived by her Son: Joe (Toni) Parton of Carrier Mills, IL; Grandson: Josh (Emily) Parton of Columbus, IN and 2 Grandchildren: Vivian and Sam Parton. She was preceded in death by: Husband: Jerry Parton; Brother Marion “Pete” Harris and Daughter In Law: Julie Parton.
