Jean P. Hollerson

Jean P. Hollerson, 74, of 215 South McKinley Street, Harrisburg, IL died Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 7:55 pm at Harrisburg Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Saturday July 2, 2016 at 2 pm at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held after 12 noon on Saturday. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery near Creal Springs, IL. Memorials may be made to the family. He was born on December 11, 1941 in Saline County, IL to the late Fred and Mary (Spangler) Hollerson. He married the former Alice Holmes on November 6, 1962 and she preceded in death on December 20, 2013. He was a retired cabinet maker working many years at Wilson Kitchens in Harrisburg, IL. After his retirement he worked part time for many years at Wal-mart in Harrisburg, IL. He graduated from Harrisburg High School, was a former member of the Stonefort Masonic Lodge and was a member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church near Crab Orchard, IL. He is survived by his Daughter: Mary (Lenny) Martin of Cape Girardeau, MO; Son: Steve (Debbie) Hollerson of Stonefort, IL; 4 Grandchildren: Greg (Ashley) Martin and Alex (Rebecca) Martin all of Cape Girardeau, MO, Samantha Hollerson and Kaci Hollerson both of Stonefort, IL; 4 Great Grandchildren: Kaleb Martin, Carson Donner, Landynn Hollerson and Jason Seabaugh. He was preceded in death by his parents and Wife: Alice Hollerson.
