Elizabeth Earlene “Cookie” Adams, 69, of 740 Carrier Mills Road, Harrisburg, IL died Friday May 24, 2013 at 2:55 pm at her residence. Funeral Services will be held Sunday May 26, 2013 at 1 pm at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Sunday from 12 Noon until service time. Burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg, IL. Reverend Brent Holloway will officiate. She was born on August 27, 1943 in Detroit, MI to the late George and Georgia May (Cole) Luther. She married Larry Adams on December 31, 1987 and he survives. She was a retired sales clerk working many years at the Harrisburg Walmart store. She also was a member the Dorrisville Baptist Church in Harrisburg, IL. She is survived by her Husband: Larry Adams of Harrisburg, IL; 2 Daughters: Tamela (Dave) Dreer of Lancaster, PA and Cathy (Scott) Leo of Harrisburg, IL; Son: Mark (Ginny) Adams of Harrisburg, IL; 7 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild. She was preceded in death by a Brother: David Luther and Sister: Carolyn Brisko.
